A Little Explanation...

So... I owe you guys an explanation. There's a very good reason why I have not been blogging much lately. See, for the last 4 months, I’ve been blogging without internet at home. And it’s been really hard, or next to impossible, to keep up with the blog, or anything internet related.

Not that I didn’t want to, I tried for the first 2 months to make it work. And I thought I had it at first, April seemed like a good month, what with the popularity of my Flower Balls, but after that I just couldn’t keep up. And I feel really bad about it...

I realized quickly how important the blogging community itself is to a blog. Probably the majority of you found me through linky parties I have participated in. So not being able to join those parties, or only a few and on occasion, has greatly affected the blog, I think. Or well, my pageviews, and hence readership.

So not only have I not been able to keep up my blog, but I've barely had any time to visit yours. And that makes me even sadder than not keeping up with my own blog.

It has also greatly affected my creativity. Seeing everyone else’s creativity and getting ideas from others is how I work, what fuels me. (I tried different ways to be able to read blogs offline, but it was all in vain).

So sorry if I haven’t replied to your comment or commented much on your posts, I just couldn’t fit it in my downtime at work to reply back, which was almost the only internet time I had.

I read all your comments, of course, and appreciate every single one of them. If you were lucky enough to get me during a time when I had more internet access, then you got a reply back. I know I still got to connect with some of you because of it.

I want so bad to connect with all my readers, and I have not been able to, and it makes me feel like a bad blogger. I always tell myself that I’m happy I’m a small blog because it allows me to get to know YOU, my readers and fellow bloggers, more.

Well, I will be better from now on.

I wouldn’t be writing this post if I hadn’t gotten the internet back, which I have, yay! I really do have a lot of projects to show you guys, and I really hope you will like them. Just got to edit the pictures, write the posts and publish! Which is half of the work really...

And I’m having a hard time knowing just where to start. I had gotten into a routine without the internet and now it's all changing, not that I'm complaining! So please bear with me.

During my little stint away from the internet, I thought really hard about which direction I want the blog to go, and what kind of blogger I want to be. So expect a post concerning that in the near future. I think this one has gotten long enough by now.

I want to thank you for sticking with me all this time. Maybe some of you didn’t realize how unfrequently I was posting, or it didn’t bother you. I know some of you did notice, and I really appreciate your concern (you know who you are ;) ).

I know a lot of you are busier during the summer, too, so I won’t do post overload. I like enjoying my summer, too! Which has been a rather pleasant one so far here.
See you all soon!

  1. How nice to see you back! I can't wait to see more posts. Looking forward to seeing what direction you plan on taking your blog. Welcome back!

  2. No Internet Access ... AHHHHH! You are stronger than I. Thanks for visiting my blog - Have a wonderful week :)

I'm so happy you're taking the time to leave me a message! Just make sure you're not a No-Reply Blogger (if you want to check, there's a link to instructions at the bottom of the blog), and if you're entering your Name/URL make sure I have a way of finding an email somewhere on your website, or just include it in your comment :)
